"Is it the end" titled after a best friend of mine, a girl whom i've known for 7 years, who went through ups and downs in her love life, and something that i know can change a person's life because of one word "love". This is a story of her love life, ending in an complicated and heart-wrenching ending.
She was confident and have a style of character that cause her to be this way, which make her unqiue from the rest. She knew what she was doing all along. Having going through many relationships in the past, ending a relationship was just normal then. She was blessed with much love by many guys trying to date her. Until two years ago, she met a guy, a guy that no one even herself expected would last long with her. I guess it was the age differences that make everyone felt this way and perhaps no one was even sure whether it was possible. that guy was younger than her and he was the first younger guy in her relationship. So trusting her instincts, she ignored the rest, and went on to start off her new love chapter with him. To her he was just nothing but the Perfect boyfriend. The smile on his face, brought joy to her everyday. It was a very good and well start off, a pair of love birds having a sweet honey taste of first love life. Like every couple, it was a sweet and enjoyable start. They went on and finally celebrated their first month. No one expected that even her family, but they all have to only be sure that seeing is believing.
Soon they were like six months together and they were able to really committed and stay faithful to one another which is something no one believed, and the guy was also caring towards her family members like including her sister, who he treated really like his own blood sister. He shared a strong bonding with her family. Everyone could see how much he love this girl. The more they were together, the more they were inseparable. It was to an extend that both are willing to lay it all on the line. For the sake of their relationship, both sacrificed their friends and stay 24/7 to each other and both were staying over at each other's place. This was what also led to some of the quarrel and fights that they had with each other. It was the over sensitive and protection that cause them to quarrel over the smallest thing. But every after quarrel, it was just like a rainbow after a stormy rain, everything would be fine. they choose to believe that every fight will make them mature and stronger only, which normal couple don't quarrel right? Some were as bad as they would lead to break ups and only to patch after that which made the stronger each time.
She really love and care for him, but just showing it in the wrong way. Maybe in the wrong choice of method like controlling him too much, which causes him to feel breathless. But put yourself in her shoes, she was merely protecting someone that she love and does that make her a bad person. Due to such bad miscommunication, in the end they really broke up and its for real. After a long two years love story journey, it just ended in such a flash. Soon she realise that it was because of another girl that cause this and she strongly believe that the feelings that they both shared had faded away long ago.
At first she tried to tell herself that it was a wake up call for her and that maybe he was trying to put on a show for her. Like every possible reasons to just believing him that he was not the guy like this. Perhaps it was the love for him that blinded her. She suffered a very heavy blow and impact from it, she keep blaming herself, why did she have to controlled him so much and she really regretted doing so, friends around her told her that it wasn't fully at fault, it was him who cheated on her and that's the biggest mistake that a man can ever make. But instead of listening to her friends, she was willing to just take a gamble, risking the fact that she might lose all her families and friends just over him, since it was nothing to lose already and she just want him back in her life again. She was determined to change to become a new person, someone whom she herself never believe she will be too. It took her alot of courage to changed for the sake of him. This time round, she's in love. and to her no matter what, she just want to salvage it even with the slightest chance.
But when she was alone who knows, tears and heart aching moments she have to face everyday. There's nothing that could stop her from being so emotional, looking at even the smallest things around her house just seems to reminds her of him being near, but guess it would never happened again, history will not repeat anymore. The pain and agony she was going through, no one knows but herself, it's not even about shouting it out loud now, it's just so so hard. Even sometimes she tries to forget anything about him, it will can not be done so easily and by having to put up a brave front in front of her friends was something very difficult for her to do every now and then. All she could do is bottle everything in her fragile heart. Only she knows the pain.
What can she do, no choice she just love him too much, and loving someone is very tiring and painful as there is not a full answer from him yet, does he still love her, or is she just being toyed time and again clinging on. there's no ending to this story yet cause there's no answer made till now, is it the end, the end story can only be ended and answer by the guy himself. Never have I see this best friend of mine, willing to do anything for a guy whom she love so much, i only suppose only it is fair for her to get her answer, and she does not deserve to suffer this way. If not she will just be blinded by love and keep saving that guy. What else can i say now, it's already beyond the line. My advise to her can only be leave fate to decide everything, not worth the sacrifices so much on him, you got a bright future don't ruin it, your world is not gonna end because of him, live life even better to prove everyone wrong that you can't live without him. You can and for him not cherishing you, all i can say is, its his lost. it aches all of us to see her in this state. What's yours will eventually be yours, move on.
